I’m sure you’ve been in at least one situation whereby somebody expected an apology from you when you weren’t necessarily wrong. Unless doing things are harmful, you shouldn’t apologize for:

Not knowing the answer

 

Taking ” me” time

 

Saying “no”

 

Your opinion

 

Who you love

 

Setting personal boundaries 

 

Things that are out of your control

 

Not going out of your way

 

Being intimidatingly talented

 

You shouldn’t apologize if you’re not truly sorry
